Dopamin AiR is an artist-in-residence program based in Ecuador, dedicated to supporting contemporary art and cultural exchange through international dialogue. It welcomes visual artists, performers, writers, designers, and other creative practitioners from Ecuador and around the world, offering time, space, and infrastructure for experimentation, research, and reflection.

The residency provides artists with the opportunity to experience a new cultural context and a unique natural environment while developing their individual practices. By bringing together artists from different backgrounds and parts of the world, the program encourages new perspectives, collaborations, and sustainable international networks.

An important part of the program is its connection with the surrounding communities. Rather than functioning as an isolated production space, it creates opportunities for artistic processes to be shared through workshops, open formats, and participatory projects. Special attention is given to children and young people from the region, introducing them to contemporary art and creative practices.

Open to both emerging and established, amateur and professional artists, the residency aims to create a space where artistic production, cultural exchange, education, and local engagement come together—generating lasting artistic and cultural connections across geographical and cultural boundaries.
