Dopamin Kollektiv is a functional and multidisciplinary artist collective based in Munich and Vienna. The collective is made up of artists of different nationalities and artistic disciplines who work together on site-specific, performative spatial sculptures. It is an open collective whose number of participants is just as variable and project-dependent as the use of media. As an alternative to the concept of the artistic genius, the collective is oriented towards the idea of a functional and multidisciplinary artist collective that realizes projects efficiently and ecologically through the shared use of skills and resources. Art is seen as a way of actively shaping the immediate environment and community life. Their expansive, multimedia sculptures and installations go beyond traditional presentations and can be experienced visually as well as haptically, acoustically and in other sensory ways. Social and community aspects are a core element of her art, which is why interaction with viewers and the inclusion of everyone in the artworks play an important role in the creation process.

Dopamin AIR is an artist-in-residence program dedicated to offering visual artists, writers, performers, designers, and other creative individuals time and space for undisturbed experimentation, and reflection to investigate and pursue their own practices. The Dopamin Artist Residency is a program open to both amateur and professional artists based in Ecuador and internationally. The aim is to give artists the opportunity to experience a new culture and a natural environment where they can create Artworks that will transcend time in Ecuador’s first sculpture park.
